ABC Kids exists to reach and teach the newest generations of the church with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry provides opportunities for children to know more about Jesus and have fun with other kids their age with the purpose of building their faith in Jesus and desire to seek and serve Him. ABC Kids has several ministries starting with the nursery on Sunday mornings for kids birth to Pre-K, KidsRock on Sunday mornings for kids kindergarten through 5th grade, and TeamKid for kids Kindergarten through 5th grade!

Sarah Haffecke
ABC Kids Coordinator
Sarah has been involved in children’s ministry for nearly a decade and has a heart for teaching kids that they were made on purpose and for a purpose by our God who loves them dearly. She spends her days raising 3 kids, serving in ministry alongside her husband Pastor Zach as well as working with preschool children at Small Sprouts Christian Montessori that meets during the week at ABC. We are so happy that you are here! We pray that we can partner with you to help train our children up in the way they should go! (Proverbs 22:6) Our hope is that you and your children find a family of faith at ABC that helps you grow in faith and spurs you toward serving and loving the Lord all the days of your life.
Sarah Eagon
Nursery Director
My Name is Sarah Eagon and I have lived in Ashland my whole life, and my husband and I are raising our family here now. As a mother of two girls, I understand the importance of raising children in the church. I am assisting with leading the youngest ones of our church, the Nursery. My goals are to not only introduce the children to the gospel, but to be there in support of the parents as they attend their ministries. Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
Jamie Eldredge
Children's Director
Jamie works part-time in real estate and construction. She and her husband, Jake, have been members of Ashland Baptist Church since 2023 and are the proud parents of two young children, Taylor and Logan. Jamie enjoys watching her children play sports, spending time outdoors, and making memories with friends and family. Serving in Children’s Ministry is a true privilege for her, as she is deeply passionate about guiding young hearts to Christ. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the church in this new role.
Stephanie Whitener

I teach middle school by day and spend the rest of my time with my husband and our three kids. Education and curiosity are a big part of who I am, both in and out of the classroom. I’m excited to serve in children’s ministry because I love helping kids build the skills that support a growing relationship with God. Their thoughtful questions and honest faith continually inspire and challenge me.
